Nimanix
Methodology
The Nimanix arenas present events or business arguments, and their
likelihood to occur. Probabilities are calculated based on participants'
activity. Participants buy and sell opinions, according to their agreement or
disagreement with the business argument based on their knowledge and personal
estimation. The participant level of involvement, in each event, implies on the
participant confidence level in his estimation, in each event.
When there is a match between buying and selling orders of two participants, in terms of argument and price, a transaction is executed and a new price is set.
The prices imply on the likelihood that the event or business argument will,
actually, occur.
During the trade session, opinion prices fluctuate, according to information, knowledge and estimations of all of the participants. The probability that an event
or business argument will occur is estimated and presented continuously, but it
is not equal to the price. It is calculated by a prediction formula. The
estimated probability increases as long as positive opinions are bought or
negative opinions are sold. It is decreased as long as negative opinions are
bought or positive opinions are sold. Further more, the time stamps, in which
transaction took place, and the status of the participants, who were involved
in these transactions, are taken into consideration, while the estimated
probability is being calculated.
The participants gain status while they make profits in the trade
arenas, meaning, while selling opinions in higher prices than they were bought.
The participant goal is to gain status, which will enable him to become a member in "knowledgeable groups". Such groups may be active in arenas where
excelling members are rewarded with money or money equals.
To gain status, participants may choose different trade strategies. For
example, one may choose to hold opinions for short terms, realize profits and
reduce loses frequently, or hold opinion for long terms, even till the trade session
ends. During that process, the Nimanix platform studies the participants' behavior,
differentiate them, and classify knowledgeable groups, for each events category.
Nimanix methodology enables to evaluate simple business measures, using
in a single trade arena, as well as, complex measures, using combination of
trade data, received from different trade arenas.
